ginger tea jelly; useful info + tips
You just need a few simple ingredients, black tea, grated ginger, sugar, and gelatin powder.
Of course, you can use your favorite black tea. But if you ask me, I would recommend using Ceylon tea (Sri Lankan Tea). Yes, Ceylon (Sri Lankan) teas make a fabulous tea jelly.
Just adjust the sweetness to make it healthier adding honey or any kind of healthy sweetener you like instead of sugar.
You can cut the set jelly into cubes or mash it with a fork. In my case, I like to add both cubes and mashed jelly to give my jelly cups a nice texture.
Serve jelly cubes in small cups with condensed milk, honey, ice cream, yogurt, or with your favorite topping.
And how about adding them in your drink?
